The view back to Edinburgh and the Pentland hills from Craigielaw Point has featured in many of my sketches. It is a unique perspective of the city and its surroundings in which Arthurs seat, the Salisbury Crags and the outline of both Edinburgh's Old and New Town feature.
I work from sketches that I have made, refining them by focussing on patterns in the landscape. I use a fine line pen to finish my drawings. My sketches often explore the coastal landscape of East Lothian.
