Close to York station this view over Lendal Bridge and the river Ouse captures the bell towers and main tower of York Minster. Lendal tower and the East & West Lodge of Lendal Bridge are visible in the foreground.
I work from sketches that I have made, refining them by focussing on patterns in the landscape. I use a fine line pen to finish my drawings. My sketchbook accompanies me on my travels and I enjoy capturing the architecture and surroundings of different cities.
