Positioned on a ridge above Gullane Bents this view extends across the bay to the undulating dunes topped with woodland that reach out to the Black Rocks. From this perspective the coast of Fife is just visible on the left of the horizon.
I work from sketches that I have made, refining them by focussing on patterns in the landscape. I use a fine line pen to finish my drawings. My sketches often explore the coastal landscape of East Lothian.
