🎨 How I Made It: I was drawn to the snake-skin patterns of Fritillaria flowers and the contrasting deep purple and delicate pearl-white petals. This linocut design focuses on pattern with a simple palette of three colours. Each colour is a different layer working from light to dark. My greetings cards are based on a digital scan of the final print, which a UK-based printing company then produce for me in small batches on FSC-certified recycled card stock, each of which I then fold by hand at home. I thought that both the full landscape print, and the more focused portrait section of the print worked well as card designs, so am delighted to be able to offer you a choice (or of course, you can pick to enjoy both orientations!)
