🎨 How I Made It: The delicate petals of Astrantia flowers created a complex linocut design. I decided to limit my palette to allow the design to be the main feature. The print comprises of two layers, the first a light sage and the second a darker green. My greetings cards are based on a digital scan of the final print, which a UK-based printing company then produce for me in small batches on FSC-certified recycled card stock, each of which I then fold by hand at home. I thought that both the full landscape print, and the more focused portrait section of the print worked well as card designs, so am delighted to be able to offer you a choice (or of course, you can pick to enjoy both orientations!)
